I believe it was about 2 weeks ago at English class, when I came across this very weird topic/thought. In my English class, our teacher had us watch this video of some kids being "told" what to do and how to behave by these cruel, evil teachers. These teachers were not letting these kids "think for themselves." Well there was this one kid who began to dream were every kid started to rebel against the school. The children began to burn down the building, tear it limb from limb, and then they built this bomb fire where they began throwing the teachers in. But this was all a dream thank goodness(:
After the video was done, everyone started saying stuff like "we agree with the video" or "why can't we freely think for ourselves." My teacher also agreed with the students. I was SO annoyed, but giggling on the inside. How foolish can you be. We go to school to be taught new things, right? So we have to be told what to do and how to think. If we were to "freely think" for ourselves, we wouldn't learn anything. My good friend Mackenzie had a good solution to this problem, "Freely think on your own time." (:
So that was a very interesting day, and a very remember able one too. It gave us all a good laugh(: Ha ha, the things I go through for my future job/family.
Now hopefully I described everything to where it made sense and gave a pretty rough picture of the video. Thanks for listening - Grant
